As you know, most browsers now support navigation using tabs. The new SpaceTime browser (beta) does it differently - in a window with a 3D interface containing several different pages.
SpaceTime is a free web browser that lets you search, shop and navigate in a 3D environment using its three main features: 3D Search, 3D eBay Search and 3D Navigation.
3D Search
Unlike regular search results, where you shopify website design get a list of links, SpaceTime loads 10 pages at a time, which are displayed in a stack in the browser window. Using the mouse or keyboard, the user can manipulate these pages as he pleases. So far, SpaceTime supports searches by Google, Google Images, Yahoo!, Yahoo! Images, Flickr, eBay…
3D Search on eBay
Support for searching and navigating the eBay online auction, primarily through product images.
3D tab navigation
SpaceTime allows navigation in a boundless 3D space. It allows the user to see the search history as a timeline. The user can switch between a 3D view of the pages and a normal 2D view, for easier reading and switching between pages.
Perhaps this is how browsers of the future will look, perhaps even the nearest one. But for now the product is rather raw. For example, after installing SpaceTime I was able to enjoy its 3D delights for five whole minutes - until Windows crashed. After restarting the system, this miracle refused to start at all.
In those five minutes I managed to notice that the program does not fully support Cyrillic and is eating up Internet traffic at a terrifying rate. So, as they say (they said) in one comedy show - "It's not time yet!"
Optimal hardware configuration for working with the SpaceTime browser: Windows 2000, XP or Vista, 512 MB RAM, 128 MB video memory, Pentium 4 (2.4 GHz) or AMD 2400xp+ processor.
